Saturday

The Saturday Morning Drive proved to be rather interesting. We saw a huge banner for a new Chinese restaurant: "CHINA PALACE - GRANG OPENING." Don't you just love that? Also, they are building another strip of shops in between the Wicks and the Thomasville stores. No signs up yet, but it make sense to me that one of them at least will be a home furnishings store of some kind. Bombay still stands empty.

The rest of today is all about finishing up my Relief Society lesson for tomorrow: God the Eternal Father. It's lesson 2 in the new Joseph Smith book. Over the next two years, the New Era will include a one page spotlight on the teachings of Joseph Smith. It's worth taking the magazine again if you no longer do. It will follow the book lessons, coming out in the month or so before the lesson is to be given. So if you're crazed for time and don't feel you can read the manual, this will at least give you important highlights. Here's the first one for you.

Tonight, Diane and Dave step into my stomping grounds for a few hours. I hope they have fun and can't wait to hear all about it!

Bob leaves tomorrow for SLC. He'll be there for a week for another business training thing. He's going to freeze. He gets home the morning of Doug's birthday and Uncle Del comes the day after that. I've got federal jury duty next week too.

Tell him to come to Ogden to watch Spencer study in our foot and a half of snow! It's a good time all around!

Woo-hoo, a Chinese place! Love their spelling. It kind of reminds me of that maincure place we used to frequent. He, he. I've got to say that you have a great Saturday morning thing going on. I know your lesson will be good, they always are.
